What is a query set, and which intent types should it cover?
A query set is the collection of prompts a measurement program runs. Every visibility number is conditional on it: change the prompts and every rate changes with them, which is why the IAB requires the prompt taxonomy to be disclosed.
The framework names four intent types and asks for the distribution across them. Decision-grade coverage means all four, with results segmentable by type; directional means at least two.
In Senso the query set is your monitored prompts. Tag them by intent to get the distribution the framework asks you to disclose.
| Intent type | Looks like |
|---|---|
| Informational | "what is X" |
| Comparison | "X vs Y" |
| Recommendation | "best X for Y" |
| Transactional | "where to buy X" |
