What is Visibility Momentum?

Visibility Momentum is the percentage change in Mention Rate or Share of Voice between two measurement periods. It answers whether presence is improving or decaying rather than what it is today.

The IAB warns that this metric is vulnerable to model updates that shift the baseline independently of anything you did, and requires providers to disclose whether trend data has been re-baselined. Read a momentum figure alongside the window it covers for that reason.
