What is Citation Decay Rate?
Not emitted as a metric. Build it from the per-page citation series.
Citation Decay Rate is how Citation Rate changes over time for one piece of content or a whole portfolio. It measures shelf life: how long a page keeps earning citations after it is published.
The IAB cautions that a decay curve may be tracking model retraining schedules or index refresh cadence rather than anything about your content, and requires providers to disclose the intervals used and whether curves are adjusted for known model updates.
Senso does not emit the curve, but the inputs are here: per-page citation counts bucketed by day or week over a stated window.
