What is Content Utilization Rate?

Content Utilization Rate is the publisher-side Prominence metric. It separates an answer that quotes, paraphrases or builds on your reporting from one that lists you as a source without using you.

Unlike citation detection it requires comparing your content against the answer, and the IAB asks providers to disclose whether they use semantic similarity, lexical overlap or a hybrid.
