What is Hallucination Rate?
Senso surfaces the underlying gaps rather than emitting a hallucination-rate metric. The evaluation endpoints are not part of the published API yet.
A hallucinated mention is one the model invents: an association, attribute or characterization with no basis in any underlying source, or one attributed to a real source that does not actually support it. Hallucination Rate is those as a share of total mentions, reported per platform.
The IAB is firm that providers must surface hallucinated mentions to clients rather than silently excluding them, and treats a missing detection methodology as a material gap in any provider’s quality claim.
Senso attacks this from the remediation side rather than reporting the rate. An assertion no approved source backs is an unsupported claim; one an approved source contradicts is a contradicted claim. Both are gap kinds, and both surface for a decision rather than being filtered out of your numbers.
